Ashley Strong Scholarship

Ms. Strong was president of Cuesta’s first Black Student Union and an active SLO County NAACP member who was passionate about social justice. Before her death in 2018, she was in the process of starting an NAACP chapter on the Cuesta College main campus.
To honor her legacy, the SLO County Branch of the NAACP is offering the first two $500 scholarships this year.
